River Meadow Ranch and the Wakefield Reunion

One of our new favorite places is River Meadow Ranch in Fort Bridger, WY. This new 'home away from home' belongs to Grampa and Grammy Preator. They have spent an amazing amount of time and work into prepping the Ranch for the Wakefield Family Annual Reunion. We were able to help for a couple days preparing for the big event. Riley mowed and trimmed with his new friend Logan, the girls cleaned the camp house and painted the swings and Brent drove the tractors and helped build some very large picnic tables. Then the festivities began with the arrival of 112 family members. We had a blast camping, playing in the pond, driving the recreational vehicles and enjoying our cousins. We left on Saturday morning, exhausted and ready to head home!

Idaho and Yellowstone

After our week in Utah, Brent flew out to join us and we left for Idaho and a quick visit with Grandpa and Grandma Hansen. We were lucky enough to be there on the right weekend to enjoy baby blessing of my Little Molly, my cousins 3rd baby. Then we made a quick, spontaneous decision to drive up to Yellowstone and tour the park. We kidnapped my cousin Cheyenne and were back on the road. We made a couple hour stop in Rexburg to see Nate, Lindsay and Hyrum. We had a lovely Sunday dinner with them and shared dessert with Emily Clark from MN. Then we made our way to West Yellowstone and drove through the park and Jackson the next day. It was a fun road trip!

Utah in July

In July, the kids and I endured a two day, 22 hour drive to Utah! We actually had a great drive and prepared for the week ahead. I attended Imagine Learning's Vision Conference, the girls played with their very favorite cousins and aunts and Riley attended Especially for Youth. We all had a busy, fun week! Riley loved meeting kids from all over the country, especially the girls!

4th of July Visitors and Como Zoo

Eric, Gwenda, Titan and Ocean came to visit us for the 4th of July weekend! We were so excited to have them and meet our favorite baby on the planet! Titan and Ocean are just adorable and we had so much fun! We spent a fun-filled few days with the DeLays going to Como Zoo, the Apple Valley Parade and hanging out at home.
