Thanksgiving with our Loved Ones

We were so fortunate to share Thanksgiving this year with many of our loved ones. We were so grateful for their sacrifices to be with us on this special holiday.

Grampa Barry and Grammy Su traveled from Utah.
Uncle Mark, Aunt Melinda, Calista, Kensington and Luke traveled from Texas.
Papa, Grandma, Uncle Eric, Aunt Gwenda and Titan traveled from Michigan.
Uncle PJ, James and Hanah traveled from Illinois.
Uncle Hardy, Aunt Ramona, Hardy Lee, Blake, Shawn and Lydia traveled from Apple Valley.
And LeAnne traveled all the way from the hospital in Burnsville!

We love them all and it was so fun to spend this great weekend together. Here are a couple glimpses of our Thanksgiving Day.

Many hands make light work:
Brent and Grampa carving the turkey
(I followed a recipe recommendation from a friend,
the turkey was proclaimed to be the most juicy anyone had ever had!
All the work was worth it...thanks Taryn for the recommendation.)

Mark and Grammy preparing the ham
Eric and Gwenda peeling potatoes, they did the whole bag!
Partaking of the Bounty!
Post dinner resting!
The best part of Thanksgiving dinner: The Pies
We had pumpkin, chocolate, banana cream, german chocolate and apple crumb pies

You have such a lovely and supportive family on both sides! Those grand kids are so very lucky! What great memories they will have from these gatherings.
