Texas - Day 1, Forth Worth Stockyards

We had so much fun on our impromptu, last minute trip to Austin TX to visit some of our very favorite people! Mark and Melinda were wonderful hosts and we loved spending the weekend with them. It was super fun to have our cousins Todd and Brad along for the adventure too!

On Friday we drove up to Forth Worth and had a great time exploring the Fort Worth Stockyards. Highlights were seeing a live longhorn up close and personal, witnesses some kind of reenactment of the Pony Express and getting the girls' picture taken with Miss Texas!!
