Since Brent was working on Christmas Eve, we decided to bust him out of his office early by visiting him and taking him to lunch. Of all the places to choose from in downtown, the kids wanted to eat at the Target Cafe! So we did and enjoyed the quiet...not many people at work on Christmas Eve. Then we visited Brent's new office, unpacked some boxes and helped him make his 'cube' a little more homey. Then we walked down to the Macy's display which portrayed the Elves in Santa's workshop. It was a perfect time to go...no lines! The kids even got to visit Santa at the end and tell him what they wanted for Christmas just in the nick of time!
