Watching the Lunar Eclipse

The Lunar Eclipse was quite a wonder at our house. The kids watched it all the way home from our Wednesday night church activities. Jamie and Riley explained the eclipse perfectly to several friends, their cousin and Sidney by using their hands to represent the sun, the moon and the earth. They were very excited and even more excited that the entire thing occurred around the 9 o'clock hour and that meant they could push back their bed time a little!

We are so glad our grandchildren could experience the Eclipse even if we couldn't because of the clouds. It's nice to know that they think about Papa and his telescope.
