Jamie enjoyed her 4th grade program entitled "Give Thanks America". The highlight was a cute skit where George Washington day dreamed about the present day. Through song and small acts the students did a marvelous job of convincing him that the freedom he fought for was still being preserved today. Jamie enjoyed her opportunity to be a protester from the 1960s.
This was Jamie's favorite song from the program, 50 Nifty United States!

Gail is having a wave of nostalgia, she can still sing the song. Although, we are saddened at the omission of the reciting of the fifty nifty states. But don't worry, Gail completed the song for me...thanks.
